Hey all! I didn’t bring any new topics for today’s content, just want a quick check-in and tell you how I am doing these 2 weeks
I got covid….
I was most sick before indicating positive, coughing, slight fever and tired (napping everyday haaha). When I felt better and decided to get some fresh air, my mother insisted to test once more to be safe AND iT WaS pOsItiVE. I was surprised, because I didn’t feel sick at all, except for some very mild coughs. I tested negative 3 times, even on the sickest day, before a positive ….
I saw this online, maybe this was the reason
Staying home all day is not as hard as I thought. Yup, I stayed at home for over 2 weeks due to government regulation. Yup, I was upset by the fact and didn’t think I will survive, I think I will be unproductive the whole time. Yup, the first few days were hard, my mind was all on hiking and going out.
But as the days passed, I slowly got used to it or I accepted the fact i cant go out lmao. I was busier than I thought lol — meetings, writing, reading…. I didnt even have time to bake hahaa. I also discovered some great channels and dramas to watch. SO, I survived 2 weeks of being sluggish and sitting at the desk whole day!!
My daily routine is like this: very structural and boring lol, but this works best for me
- wake up naturally at ~7
- stretching
- breakfast and books
- start working
- (exercise before lunch)
- lunch
- work/ netflix/ nap
- dinner
In the meantime, I received some good news during self-quarantine…
- 🇨🇦 Canada exchange in Fall. My plane ticket didn’t waste!!! It was a long story — I withdrew exchange to Wilfrid Laurier this spring, and reapply again. And I got in!!!
- 2 summer internships interviews
Some of my friends and family also got infected recently. I learned that their symptoms were more severe than mine eg sore throat, lost appetite, fever….. so I am really grateful I didnt experience these. And thanks to my body that I still have the energy to work. Treat your body well by eating enough nutritious food and exercising regularly. Not sure if this relates but it is always good to have a strong body
Stay Safe Everyone!
